Cheers Jason
Seems strange to see a Tornado in a museum..............but time moves on
What the black 'Score' like panel on the foward fuse of the Victor.?

They look like little petrol pumps: refueling missions flown in the Gulf War of 1991 maybe ?Garry Russell wrote:Cheers Jason

Re: RAF Cosford Easter Monday
I sort of wondered that Paul my the livery threw me
Of course the livery it wears now in a museum may not be the one it was wearing at the time it aquired extra markings

I'm pleased to see the Victor has now made it under cover. If you view this pdf http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/cosford/col ... 0XH672.pdf about the Victor (XH672 Maid Marion) & scroll down to 'Jan 91' it does comment that black petrol pump symbols were added to the Gulf War I tanking fleet to show number of missions flown.
