The only Trident 2s that I flew were FF, FG, FO, FN, FM, FL, XM and FE...I only flew FE three times Sept 7 & 8, and Dec 13 1983 :think:

Is the C130 part of the AI included with the product? If it is, it should have turned off the RW onto the military pan, rather than the civil area. From memory, only Tristars would sometimes use the civil area, as most other stuff (including VC-10s) came direct to the SH area.

It looks the business however!!!

There is no AI traffic included and I agree with the reasoning that "It would conflict with the User's Traffic".

Every one of my shots here is showing Tools > TrafficTools > Explorer screens and the Traffic shown is probably ALL WOA packages as I have replaced practically all my AI with WOA. The only exception is the last shot which I took while walking a complete circuit of the security fence (using Walk and Follow). Anyway, I have noticed that the RAF Herc does use that civil cargo area all the time in this package but I have not yet looked at the AFCAD parking to see why :dunno:

OK...I've just looked at it and it is probably a radius issue...The "Ramp Mil Cargo" parkings all have rather small radii and the "Ramp Cargo" that the Herc uses has a much larger radius.

Just spotted this post and bought it from Gary's site... absolutely supperb. First time I have had FS on in about 3 weeks... RW getting in the way and I'm a very happy camper indeed. The detail on the mil side is also superb. The only thing that seems to be missing are some of the building around the GAT, but these where portakabins and may not be there now. Realy well done to Gary, and a bargin at £13.50 :thumbsup:

Bought it yesterday. Just superb!!!

Wonderful, in real life I arrived in a Vanguard in 1968 and was astonished to see enormous numbers of hares crouched on the grass bordering the taxyways just beneath the rotating props.

Yes I use FSSE Global mesh and my Loch is raised and EGAA looks a bit 'floaty' in parts but I shall put up with that because when you are on the airport you don't notice it. I suspect everyone has now seen the two static Hawks - probably over from Valley.

No static Hawks seen but then again.. I didn't let it load statics :cpu: The surrounding area looks decidedly dodgy using either VFR Terrain or FSGenesis with this scenery but looks ok when using the default EGAA. Anyway.. that's by the by. I think it's time for some nice AI Merchantmen and perhaps the odd Shacklebomber ;-)

Ah...The Shack sounds like a great idea! Often seen on the Mil side in the 80's would be.... VC10's, Nimrods, sometimes a Canberra, Lynx, Puma, Chinook, Wessex, Gazelle. Also ocassionally Bucs, Jag... even the occassional Hunter 2 seater. BA opperated VC10's / Tristars on some shuttle flights at Christmas time too in the early 80's.
