Jagged Coastline
The other day while flying in FS9, I zoomed all the way out in top-down view. All coastline afterwords is jagged and takes these huge straight lines instead of curving. This persists even after restarting FS. I have scowered google. Any suggestions?

Hi Sam..
First off.. welcome to the forum ;-)
Right.. what you would appear to have done is loaded a bit of scenery that has caused this to happen. You'll probably find that not all your coastlines are like this just a chunk of 'em. For sure, it won't have happened on it's own so have a think and let us know what you've recently loaded

Yep Dave
That happened to me and it was sorted out by a mate so I don't know which one was causing it but he did remove several I did not need or never really used and it cured it.

Re: Jagged Coastline
For those using the VF/GM Photoscenery in FS9.1 -
If the problem is in SW Scotland and the Firth of Clyde, you usually need to reinstall the NOK freeware coastlines.
IIRC, this also fixes a similar issue on the French side of the Channel.
There is a very old Landclass for Ireland, which creates the same havoc in SE Eire.
Installing Bones' IoM with the 2004 upgrade reinstates one of the bgls which should be deactivated if you are using the VFGM photscenery.
I notice the original post says this was only observed after a big zoom out, and despite a restart the system failed to recover...that sounds more like a graphics card problem.
Hope this helps

Re: Jagged Coastline
Yup.. VFRPhoto will kill parts of the coastline.. southern England in particular including the CI's and the French coastline. Be careful if you have VFR Terrain too as this adjusts other bits  The coastline fix is readily available but if you can't find it Eric, I'll upload it for ya ;-)
