They might just have got away with it if they hadn't said that the Nimrod was a biplane - which the Chippy patently isn't!

Hawker Nimrod was the naval equivilent of the Hawker Fury biplane. Very tasty little number it was too.

There used to be another pub called The Aviator beside the aerodrome at Croydon. Had a DH Dove outside, I think.

First there is cofusion between a Hawker Nimrod and a Hawker Siddeley/BAE Nimrod

Then Confusion between a Dove and a Heron :o :worried:
