Good find. Oh happy days!
Interesting seeing some of those in BCAL marks. G-ASKK and G-ASTF will be always BMA and British Eagle, respectively, for me.

Hi Ian
I never saw a BMA Herald in SKK days,'PWA and 'THE were also used.....only later on their second use when they bought three from Trans Brasil and then it was G-BAVX every time I saw one
So I only new SKK as BUA and beyond

Re: BCAL Tribute Site
Thanks Garry
Opened it up and bugger me the first shot I see is Tony O'Reilly staring back at me -- He and Chalky White, Jack Carter and myself were all at Dan Air LTN together - and then a certain BCAL LGW FA who will remain forever in my heart.

Hi Leif
There must be a loat of people you know turn up on these sites.
In those days things were smaller and more close nit......I bet nowadays you could work for BA at LHR and see pics of loads of current staff and not know any of them. :-(
Funny how that site has been around a while and despite many searches using what you would think tag it, it only came up today when I was searching "VC 10"

Re: BCAL Tribute Site
Your right Garry
at Gatwick it was a really close knit group -- you went from one airline to the next but there were always same faces.
Hence the expression -- "Same company - different colours'

Re: BCAL Tribute Site
The industry that I work in has nothing to do with aviation, but the concept is the same. If you are in a small specialised environment, never p155 off the boss - he/she could return at the next company.you went from one airline to the next but there were always same faces
