Re: Best Victor set? And quotes from the pilot
Thanks for that John, from earlier videos of the start of her run and being a very blusterly day I thought that the wind had lifted the wing, from his report, that split second thought of continuing the climb then aborting to land never ceases to amaze me how quickly the brain functions in emergency situations.
We have all or at least most of us experienced this at some point in our lives, I know I have when flying or driving. Afterwards I have just sat and thought it through, and asked myself was it just an automatic reaction? The answer had to be no as I could remember the speed at which I had to reach that split second decision of having to decide option 1,2 or even 3 in a nano second. Has anyone else experienced it?
Regards
Nigel.
