Re: Aero Ae-45S
Actually Brian
as it has association with the UK (I remember seeing PRR Everywhere in the mid 60s) I thought I might upload it to the Pond
At present I'm uploading alot of stuff I have on Disk that disappeared when Avsim fell over and republishing it -- its a long ardous process of sending email and asking permission.
And yes its a really nice model

Re: Aero Ae-45S
I believe PRR was the faux Heinkel --- When I first saw it it was painted grey, cream and a rust colour -- As I remember it was usually seen in company with a Meta-Sokol - I am busy replacing the Baron sound file with the Comet's file as we speak -- the Mikron sounded like a Gypsy (and Not just because it was inverted inline).

Hi Leif
I never saw it by it's Heinkel days and TBH i'ts so long ago now when I used to see them I don't remeber what they sounded like.
They always seemed popular amoung those that flew them

Re: Aero Ae-45S
Wikipedia (which we know is always accurate ;-) ) states that the Ae-45 has a service ceiling 4,429 ft. Surely a typo...I think?

Re: Aero Ae-45S
I downloaded this yesterday while checking my bookmarks but did not realise that it was new :doho: But I see that it was an "update" - hence my confusion.
Anyway I logged 'PRR at Biggin Hill in 1965, G-APWV (Meta Sokol) was also there so maybe that is the one Leif remembers.
And G-AROE was at Gatwick in the same year. For all of those, I may have seen them many times again but youth has its ignorance of potential history!

Ta Ian
I could not remember the regs --
BTW I need a good painter to change some textures -- if you look there is a dark circle on the left side of both
cowls -- well they are mirrors and need to be on inside only -- they were for checking the gear.

Re: Aero Ae-45S
That should be easy provided that the textures are not 'shared' where one side is copied from the other. I can take a look if you want to send me the file. PM me for my email addy Leif.DispatchDragon wrote: BTW I need a good painter to change some textures -- if you look there is a dark circle on the left side of both
