Hello Mate..

I hit the button some 30mins ago and left it buffering at 12%. Just came up and got a box saying something or other (so pi$$ed off I didn't read it) I'm trying to download it instead :)

Try going direct to http://www.speedbird747.com/videos/PEP.wmv or typing it in or something. I've tried it a couple of times and got a little bit of buffering but not much. Maybe it's because it's Saturday night and everybody's surfing. Maybe I've got a better connx than you at the moment?

I've managed to watch them both, although they did take a while to buffer, brilliant videos would love to get down to Brooklands some when. That railton looks spectacular as well as EP of course.

Hi Ian

Got to watch it on 2 pc's now.. buffered it on the core2 and downloaded it on the XP3200  That matey in the hat certainly got into the spirit of things didn't he  Noticed no.3 smoked a wee bit when we went to high ground beta :o Cleaned up very nicely in short order I'm glad to say ;-) EDIT.. just watched it again and notice no.4 smoked a wee bit too :o Hardly surprising given that's 12months since they've run ;-)

Cheers mate. That's not bad footage at all considering what a piddling little camera it was and hand held t'boot

It's a good job I didn't post the original AVIs. The three AVI clips that make up the PEP video add up to a Gigabyte - but combined into one WMV it's 'only' 155Mb! It's amazing what you can get on a 2Gb SD card isn't it?

I've tried playing it from the server a couple of times and it plays fine on my laptop after about ten or twenty seconds buffering. Perhaps the picture size is too large for many connection speeds. So perhaps downloading is the best solution if it won't play directly.

Dave - I'll put the AVIs onto a DVD for you. They are much better quality than the WMV but come in several smaller clips.

hi there gents

great news too hear, you got the engines running!
made my day believe it or not. being mechanically minded, having a very black oiled thumb myself,
and understanding what your having to work with. it's just, well , ..... I don't know what. :tunes:

PS , if you get all four running , and Peter makes it , :dunno: who knows what could happen..

Joe

good video an pics there , Mr. Be~Haved ;-)

Tks Ian and tks Joe

I've never actually topped up the engines myself until today and lucky for me.. no one wanted to go up the ladder so that's another one 'ticked off'. Likewise, I made a point of getting 'stuck in' with the fuel bleed process so that's another one ticked off :welldone: I love the old girl.. I really do ;-) :kissu:
If we ever get our hands on another starter.. I feel sure that after today, the old buggers will be keen to let rip with all 4 again and even if we don't.. 3 is looking good. However, that was this afternoon. Who knows how they'll feel tomorrow  The only thing missing from today was the aircraft moving around.. something I guess you only get when all 4 are yaffling at the bit ;-)
I'm doing my annual fire fighting course Wed AM but on completion, I'll dip the tanks and check the oil levels in 3 and 4 (if I can get someone to stand at the bottom of the ladder!) just to check what we actually burned.
