Kemble Air Show - Saturday

Great shots, really like the one of the Wasp, one of the first birds I worked on. Wish we had one for FSX.

Although both at Cosford and Kemble these have been replaced by the Sabre, which we'll have less opportunity to see, as it's heading to the States next year, so I suppose some good is coming out of the Sea Hawk's no shows.

This is the first I heard off this as someone brought her from the states or she going over there for an overhaul ?

Hard to say which is my favourite finish but I do have a soft spot for black as it is a hard colour to keep looking smart but when it is kept pristine it's gobsmacking...so the Hunter wins for me

I think Golden Apple don't have the money to give her the servicing she needs at the end of the year, so they've had to sell her to someone who can keep her flying, elsewhere. Unfortunate on our part, but on the plus side, at least she will be kept flying.

Here's their current calendar for the 2009 season, if you want to catch the Sabre before she leaves. Considering she wasn't down on the programme for Kemble or Cosford (although was confirmed for both, at late stages), there's always a chance that she'll be there to fill in for the Sea Hawk for a few more shows than she's already down for. Here's hoping.

Hi Adam,

thank you for the information thats bad news so is this the end of Golden Apple or are they still trying to get a T-33 which with the sell of the Sabre they can get one i guess now ? I must see her then before she goes across the pond hopse she is Confirmed by Airshow Organiser at Eastbourne and Bournmouth.
