vikings w/ spinners

Post by circleman »

Some viking repaints show spinners, others show propellor hubs.

Did some operators use the varsity/valetta instead?

sorry, new on this side of the pond.

thx

Hi cman

By and large BEA flew with spinners and the idependants flew without.

No idea why :dunno:

The Valetta is different to a Viking in a few ways and the Varsity was a completely new design with very littl common to the other two. The RAF usually used spinners

Hi Cman

There is only one model...there is a key that turns the spinner on or off but I can't remember which.

It should be in the read me :)

Hi Guy's..

You'll find it's the U/V lighting that turns the spinner on and off. Funny you're only seeing spinners.. I was hacked off by not seeing any  Open the overhead panel and on the bottom you'll see a row of round rheostats. Click on the control point there and your spinners will either appear or disappear as required ;-)

Hi Dave

'i Don'r know about U/V lighting.too clever for my brain cell STUPID

It's the "O" key that toggles it but just now when I tried it only after CTRL E was activated to start....The key is mentioned it the Read me that perhaps wasn't RTFM :o
