Hi all,
Recently returned from Newquay on yet another camping trip with the wife. We're getting quite good at experiencing the great outdoors now.
Whilst down there we decided to visit a little fishing village called Port Isaac. Some may know its the filming location of the ITV series Doc Martin.
What a beautiful little place. You can see how narrow the streets get over there. God only knows how they get all the huge filming, support and catering rigs down those streets.
Here's a few shots:
Can you spot Doc Martins house?
This is it!
thanks for looking

Nothing like visiting a quaint little seaside village.. with the roads full of cars and tourists
Didn't realise that's where Doc Martin was filmed :o Certainly looks very familiar and I've never been there ;-)

Hi Dave,
I think its so busy due to Doc Martin. Kind of a victim of its own success. I assume the locals get a bit miffed in the summer!
The price of fame I guess.. :-(

Nice pics Eddie..I recognised it before reading the text
I was looking at Port Isaac recently on Google Earth and it's full of notes about the series.
I like Martin Clunes but I wish he'd give Doc Martin the boot
Gald you enjoyed your camping trip..sadly a bit too 'in tents' for me now

Yes mate.. like that place up near Saddleworth.. what's it's name.. Holmfirth, where Last of the Summer Wine is filmed. Pretty much nowt there except disgruntled locals and tourists
Next time I'm down that way.. I'll go and be annoying too (in an unannoying way of course) ;-)
Nice shots mate

Perhaps you could combine the two and be a disgruntled tourist

Looks very much like "Tidal extreme" Eddie. Is it for FS9 or FSX?
Glad you both enjoyed your trip, and thanks for sharing.
