Hi Gents, the Tornados from IRIS all use the Flaps as the wingsweep and flaps settings, just keep on bringing the flaps up to sweep the wings... There was a guage in the V4 GR4 that was removed in the next version and isnt featured anymore... (that is if you have the original IRIS Tornados...)

BTW the F3 paints, are you talking about the addon texture set by Igorski?

Can't see anything that stands out in any cfg file.... Wingsweep is linked to the flaps selection, but I see nothing that hints at 'auto'?

Hi Jim..

I've just found my version and it must be an older one (I knew it would be as I've not bothered updating it).. no autosweep :) The original wing operation was linked to the flaps anyway.. full flap in meant full sweep back. You then have the first 3 (or was it 2.. perhaps 2) clicks which get the wings to fully forward then subsequent taps bring the flaps down. As you're a fully paid up member.. I guess it wouldn't do any harm for me to send you my panel folder (with guages) as a retro fit if you want. What say you??

Can't tell which version mine is btw as there are no obvious numbering conventions. That was only on the upgrade zips as I remember.

Hi Dave....

I'm OK as in I'm manual sweep and content with that..... as a thought... .fmansam.. can you fire up a screeniw showing your panel in-game? If there's an add-on guage that may help ID the little tinker?

Hi Jim

Rgr that Amigo ;-) Another guess here but I reckon the autosweep would be an invisible gauge mate.. something {visually) only obvious with a prog like FSPS.

Yeah FSPS or hunting through the CFG is the only method of showing the IRIS XML gauges that control a lot of the automatic funtions on the planes... What i really do surgest you trying is downloading the latest version and installling to a temp location and copying the panel.cfg over the older one(after backing up the old one) and seeing if that helps...

to clarify, the GR never had autosweep, it was introduced into the F2. However it has so many issues, it was disabled, and has been like that since late 80's. Although the F3 still has the system fitted, it has been disabled pyhsically since then

As the for the IRIS I did point this out, but was told I was wrong. Strange since I have worked on F2/3 since 1990. Anyway, the only model in the 4.1 version that has this now is the AI model, so make sure you are not flying that one, the others are manual

as for the paints, make surte you are not trying to use older DSB paints on the IRIS model, as there are differences in the maps
