That's cool. Just checked my ejection seat shots and as bad luck would have it, I don't have a 2E. I DO have a 2CA though and as has been pointed out, the schematic shown on the link IS a 2CA as fitted to the Canberra :)

THe 2E did not have the footrests - at least according to the M-B website - WK800 definitely has/had, so that seems to make it a Mk1E! Unfortunately they are not visible in the shots that I have! Will pose question to Trevor.
The Canberra seats did not have the footrests.

I just followed the links on that page back to the Mk1 and the schematic on that page shows a Mk1E with the legend as fitted to the Meteor F8. The answers are there

Hi Guys

Not too critical as i am not getting involved in a full VC model at this point.

mainly aiming at an external model for Ai use or flyable if users want to.

A full VC version will take me months to do and i currently have a ton of offshore crane loads to build for work :cpu:

Rick

Rick,
Glad about that, so it doesn't matter whether its a Mk 1, or a 2 as the head boxes seem to be identical. - Sorry about starting that thread!
If we can come to a mutual arrangement with a dxf or gmax version of your airframe - I will try to do the VC / command autopilot/display over the winter.

Hi Keith

I think i can export a DXF file but it loses all texture mapping/animations/smoothing groups & heirachy as far as i can remember.

This model was built about 2002 and does have a working VC (meteor T7) already but looks very dated compared to my newer models.

Anyway some more progress shots from FSX (FS9 model format!)ie: glass gets problems with clouds and autogen but otherwise fine.

BTW the Llanbedr scenery i am using in FSX is by Tony Meredith as he is the only scenery designer that can make the runways etc fit accurately on the photo scenery
almost all others have the taxyways all over the shop which i hate (ie:they don't have photo scenery i guess) :dunno:

I am pretty sure Tony would help anyone doing the scenery in this area as he's a top bloke (I think he's also a member here too)

Regards
Rick

Rick, That really does look very good - congratulations. As for the background scenery I must admit that what I can see from your screenshots it has more detail than the Just Flight version that I have loaded - & it seems to have all of the offices & outbuildings.
One comment though - I never remember seeing tip vortices on the Meatbox, mainly because it had g limitations & a max speed of 400 KIAS in order to preserve its life......
If you would be so kind as to dxf your model it would save quite a lot of hassel to me - credited to you of course when done. If you look at the photos I sent of the cockpit interior there would have to be quite a lot of changes necessary anyway. I await a definitive statement & possibly a picture of the Seat from Trevor Stone - but that is something I would have to do!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one to have problems with FSX perspex etc. !!!!!
regards
Keith

Hi Keith

the vortices are std FSX as i am slow flying to take the shots (150 kias and pulling about 3g)

they are not added fx files

I will try to make a set of dxf files but you must not share them as i do not allow my source files out as a rule

you can use them to make what you need but not share the source (if that makes sense?) you can share what you make for FS

there is only a perspex problem as it's a "FS9 model" (makemdl.exe compiled)
if compiled through Xtomdl.exe ("FSX native" i have no perspex problem)

Regards
Rick
