Sunderland Airshow - this weekend - and its free

Lineup as pulled from the website....

Saturday and Sunday
12noon – 1pm and 1.30pm – 4.45pm*
*Times are provisional and are subject to change.

Flying Display
This year’s thrilling national and international display teams will include:

The Vulcan Bomber for the first time, plus The Royal Air Forces Red Arrows, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Spitfire, Hurricane, Dakota), Falcons Parachute Display Team, Typhoon, Hawk, Tutor and Kingair.

The Blue Eagles will be returning to this year’s Sunderland International Airshow with the Apache for the first time and the Lynx.

The show will also include the Belgium Air Component F16, Royal Netherlands Air Force F16, The Black Cats, Chinook (Sunday only) and Sea King Helicopter.

The Blades Aerobatic Team, DC6, Swift Glider Team,Team Guinot (Sunday only), Vulcan Bomber (Saturday only) will also be performing.

On The Ground
There's an action-packed Arena programme on Cliffe Park, with displays form The Band of HM Toyal Marines Scotland, The Royal Marines Commando Display Team and the 4th Field Regiment Light Gun Display.

The Royal Navy, The Army and The Royal Air Force ground show on Cliffe Park and at Bede's Cross is your chance to meet members of The Armed Forces

Oh yes... given that its a 15 minute walk to the seafront from the flat :dancer: And no need to worry about parking either :lol:
