Ahh, I was wondering if the relatively short runway might have had something to do with the "ugly" landing. Thanks for your input Chris. :) I just couldn't imagine Airbus' pilots making a landing like that at Oshkosh of all places.

to avoid obstructions near the threshold ......notice the hang four and nosewheel center landing :tab:

Hi Folks

Surprised nobody's posted it.

Whether or not Dan Gryder's qualified to talk about A380 landings,
he's may well be qualified to talk about bad ones, (one of his)..

Kidding -
I guess that was deliberate. :D

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.

No problem Joe. There was probably a bit of crosswind and he'd been told to turnoff at the threshold of the runway he was landing on. Text book stuff in my view ;-)

Well, all those landings (except maybe the 757 landing) look better than a lot of mine in FS!

Certainly better than my landings.....but in my defence I will say it's not my fault that MS placed every runway in the World either ten feet higher or ten feet lower than I think they should be :worried:
