I'm a bit lost too, let me see what happens with the Comet.
Despite the VC bits, I still really love this aircraft, more than some paywares that I've shelled out for.

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
I'd just really like you to get the full benefit of it mate... DM has made some cracking aircraft and as I've been privilaged to see the work that goes into them I like to see folk get the full benefit from them too.
Anything your stuck on with the comet, post here and we'll get you sorted.

Sorry but I'm more and more convinced that this is a simple alias problem....

Thanks Ben. Whilst looking at the link you posted, viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15847
I noticed the following..
I noticed the following..
DanKH wrote:One other thing worth noticing, is that the Alpha channel has been Revesed (as I under stand it)
In FS9: white is transparent and in FSX black is (or is it the other way around)
This could be the culprit of some very shining textures sheen here and there.
But regarding the "Stealth" Viscount, I'm pretty sure that Ben is Bang On with the DX10 comment.

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
Hi Ant, yep thats true, but doesn't affect DM's models. there are loads of guys using DM's aircraft in FSX without the problems your seeing and without changing the Alpha. The Alpha problem is more common on older models like the Vanguard and Viscount... originally done for FS2002 :o

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
I've just put the Comet up and I don't have any texture issues with it, I have a nice warm VC. Another note, is it normal for the VC10 to not have a VC?

What other effects could I experience with different filtering? I'll change it and see what happens..
Now waiting for good weather to try out the Comet, I'd rather be able to fly with some visual recovery whilst I test out these avionics. Glad to see QNH in millibars on the Comet, wish I could get that on the 1-11.
