Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
Think its worth a try mate.... maybe try with the Trident... I know it was the last one to be recompiled using FSDS 3 (or 3.5). The comet was made using FSDS 3 i think. Think the other two were FSDS 2.x

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
Screen res which has to run native is 1920x1200.
That is also the setting in FSX for when I run in full screen. When in windowed mode, I think FSX does as it pleases.

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
If you can....try changing to 1650X1050 on your desktop AND in FSX...just reading some forums that your card has problems in higher resolution within FSX..???
Might be worth a go mate..?

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
I'll give it a brief go, but I can't run it in that res as it's not the monitors native res, so what will happen is the display looks awful, blocky, no smoothness to it. It's the first I've heard of my card having problems, I'm not saying you're wrong, but I have no problems with any other aircraft. But yes something is amiss seeing as I'm the only one known to have problems with these.

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
Just checked, no ruch screen res available.
I did a little bit of research too and the only 'issues' I could find with my card that people had, was frames per second, which I don't seem to have an issue with.

Re: Transparent VC in the Maltby models...
I'm coming to the party a bit late...
I had something close to the same problem, putting the POSKY 777 into FSX. After messing with it for ages, I discovered that if I put all of the files associated with the VC into the individual texture folders, things started magically appearing. For some reason, even with the texture.cfg installed in each folder, and the "main" texture folder containing all the right bits, for some reason FSX just wouldn't read them unless they were in the individual texture files. It may not help, but wouldn't hurt to try...
All of the Maltby models work fine in my FSX... They're stunning!
