FSX British scenery...
Well I don't have FSX, so it's no use to me, but if you do...

Hope it's as good as it looks

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.

Now if only a fraction of those were available in FS2004!

I doubt it mate. Here am I with an almost virginal FSX and CBA to use it. At least I know where to look should that ever change ;-)

Re: FSX British scenery...
Hi Folks
You might be in luck.
Jon Masterson & team's Airport Design Editor
now works for both FSX & FS9.
N.B.
It's a beta, so everything's at your own risk.
You could try opening those FSX files,
then saving them as FS9 format.
Note they won't have the hi-res Horizon ground tiles,
but VisualFlight's VFR photoscenery should match location-wise.
Many of the sceneries utilise addon libraries,
though some stick with FSX default library objects.
Please note -
Any FSX default library objects might not show up,
even if a similar object exists in FS9 default libraries,
as the the GUIDs use different formats.
Don't know if ADE handles GUID conversions.
You'd need to test this.

Hi Paul
Well if that works that opens up a whole world of possibilities!
I'll let you know how it goes

Re: FSX British scenery...
Is it possible that it could also work the other way round - i.e. exporting FS9 scenery as FSX? Wouldn't mind having a few of the Northern RAF bases back from my UK2000 RAF Airfields scenery. At least until VFR Airfields Pt3 is released, at any rate!

Re: FSX British scenery...
Fab post guys, I am picking up Vol 3 from Horizon (17.99 from Amazon) when I am back next month and will now have somewhere to fly from within the North of England. The UK2000 for Vol 3 will be some time, maybe almost a year, so these links will be a great help, as they are all compatable with Horizon stuff
