What's Opera Doc?

Post by dutch11 »

On some of the French timetables, like TAI, there is something at Paris called Opera, before Orly or Le Bourget. Air France has something else and so does UAT, something about Invalides. Does anyone know what or where these are? Thanks for any help.

Possibly City terminals ???

I know way back when Dan Air and Autair showed scheduled departure times by coach from "the North London Air Terminal"
for the coach ride up to Luton

Hi,

Leif is quite correct and Opera is still there, see diagram for Roissy Bus.

http://bonjourlafrance.net/air-france/p ... ervice.htm
Timetable .....Daily departures from Charles-de-Gaulle 2 Air Terminal every 15 minutes from 6h00 to 23h00 (11pm).
..................Daily departures from Opera Terminus every 15 minutes from 5h45 to 23h00 (11pm).

I think it's a Metro Station. Good old Google.

Regards

John

Thanks Leif and John. I was wondering if it was some sort of maintenance facility for aircraft, but that didn't make a lot of sense to me.

Hi Chaps,

Opera is a district within Paris (the 9th) and there are quite a lot of hotels in the area. Its easy walking to the shopping malls as well as the Louvre etc. Nice part of town if you ever planning a trip

Cheers
