The mail just arrived...I only had one letter and it was from BT...I imagined it was a bill and I opened it...Well the contents left me speechless and I wondered if I might frame it...Then I thought "No! I'll put it on the Internet as some sort of monument to something?"
I clipped the top off it to remove my address and since I just don't know what to say about it, I thought I would leave it for you chaps to comment:-
It could be worse Peter, a workmate recently had a council tax arrears bill of £0.00 with demands of payment or court action....being the sort of bloke that he is he let it go to court, turned up in his best bib and tucker....he got a huge apology and left behind an extremely embarrassed council official and an even more agitated magistrate
As to the penny...the paper is probably worth more so I'd frame it......it might be worth tuppence in a few years

When I was with Royal & Sun Alliance I had to send a few of those out when people cancelled their policy. Was always worth a laugh round the office.
Best rebate I ever seen was for like £75,000 on a commercial combined policy :o
