Shuttle Discovery Landing
Has the website been down about 2 hours ago??
Anyhow - Shuttle 'Discovery' at about to do its thing regarding re-entry - weather permitting. I think landing will be around midnight.
Watching NASA TV they are still making plans & entering computer data, so as at now (21.30 BST) things are still go!!

Re: Shuttle Discovery Landing
Both re-entry burn opportunities were waved off for weather so I wish them better luck for tomorrow

Hi Peter ,
amazing how fast it comes in , the view of the HUD is something else, it puts you right in the seat.
Sadly , there aren't many left. And the replacement isn't going to be much more fun than
watching a pop bottle rocket go up and come back down.

Joe -- did you see they successfully flew the Ares 1 from Vandenberg today?
Tag watched the Shuttle landing mesmerized -- then asked why we hadn't driven down to see it
