Blame Ian.. again

Post by forthbridge »

After reading about Ian's exploits on Salisbury plain I was looking at the Bovington Tank museum website, and came across this site:

I want them all!

Jim - they're fantastic! I want one too. But here's a better idea - you get one and chase me and Speedbike over the plain.

Ian

Funny thing about tank models

I have no interest in tanks and would never buy one :worried:

Once at an auction I won a bid but they were in lots of several models. In the lot was a Tamiya tank and tbh it was one of the most enjoyable model builds I ever did.

Perhaps because I was not blinded by small accuracy issues as in making airliners ,as I would not have know if it was wrong or not. *-)

So without that handicap I just made it and enjoyed it....even to the extent I would like to do another build one day.

I was amazed at all the little bits it had on it....1/16 I think it was..nice size :)
