BCAL B12
In the Gallery as was, there was a BAC One-Eleven srs 200 in British Caledonian colours.
Anyone know where this repaint is available from? I can't find it anywhere.

Re: BCAL B12
That's the Caledonian/BUA one. I'm talking about a 200srs in full BCAL (Golden Lion on the tail)
Thanks for trying though

Hi Nigel
It was by Simon baskerville
I have problems with the laptop..it's running very slow and at 100 percent all the time.
I have tried to find it but with my problems it's difficult
Try using his name........I think though this came up a little while ago, so someone might rmember the result

Thanks Garry, I'll try that.
By the way, many thanks for the Mediterranean Express repaint. I used to work for them, it was a fun outfit.
The black titles on the fuselage (of the real one) were actually a mistake by the company that repainted it, they should have been blue (as on the company stationery). That was corrected on 'YUW.

Can't find this for the 200 and I'm sure I had it. I've a feeling it is still somewhere on a HD but it's not on any of the 4 pc's I have here in the toyroom
EDIT..
Try this file over at Avsim.. bcal111_168308.zip . It's for G-ASJI (FS2004 model) done by Bob Baur

No, 'UW never got into service.
Both G-AZUK and G-AYUW had been in open storage at Van Nuys CA for a few years. A team from BA went over there and prepared UK for a ferry flight on a permit to fly back to LHR. There was a snake in one engine, a birds nest in the other, the fuel tanks were full of thick algae and the oleo's were flat. It disappeared into one of the BA hangars at LHR for several months whilst a major overhaul was done.
Once out, UK was introduced into service. UW was prepared and ferried back to LTN. It went into McAlpines hangar (they were now our contracted maintenance organisation) and some work was started on it. Unfortunately Mediterranean Express went down the pan and it was never completed. It was in a worse state than UK had been and was probably therefore an unattractive proposition for a buyer.
When ZUK was positioned from LHR back to LTN, she was perfect, however the flight was at 6000ft and air con on APU bleed. Next day, we went from LTN to NOC for a crew training detail. As we climbed out of LTN, and the MAC valves were opened, i.e. engine bleeds used for air con, the hot air stripped all the paint from the inside of the new air ducting and filled the cabin with smoke!!!!

Re: BCAL B12
Cheers for that Nigel
Interesting details.
I didn't think 'UW had gone into service and she became a test airframe.
I was a passenger on 'UK twice when she was with Loganair.
