Hi, was just wondering if there is anyway to change the shortcut key (f9) for fsnavigator. As currently trackir uses this hotkey and seems to have disabled the key altogether in fs9. I can't seem to find a way to change the hotkey on either so im miffed, but i'm sure somebody must have had this problem in the past.
Thanks for reading

Hi,
You can't change the FSNav hot key but you can the TrackIR...
Go to profiles > edit > HotKeys.
Regards
John

Likewise Jon's..
You can also change the FSNavigator key. Open FSNav then select settings (hammer) on the top row of buttons. On the first page/tab (Global) you can select which key you want from there

Re: FS Navigator + Track IR
Hi Dave,
Well bless my cotton socks, I didn't think that was possible. I'm sure I've read somewhere that one of the reasons why FSNav was not developed for FSX was something to do with the F9 key not being able to be used by FSNav.

Re: FS Navigator + Track IR
I'd not looked to be honest.. until I bought a TrackIR. Could never get used to FSN being on a different key and got rid of the TiR anyway so the status quo returned to normal You're a bit restricted whichever way you go TBH as most of the F keys are important in their own right and mapping them to a quadrant/stick matters not as they still need to be assigned. It gives a little latitude I suppose

I've been playing around a bit with the trackir hotkey and have settled on f11.. It probably used to do something but I haven't for the life of me got a clue what
