Now as it happens Joe he did get to fly and try his hand at a couple of rolls. All of which is recorded for posterity on video. I'll upload the video in the morning, but for now here are a few of the stills I took. A BIG thanks to Tony for enjoying himself so much and for doing an incredible job at cleaning it afterwards. You'll note in a most of these you can actually see reflections in the aircraft - you couldn't before we started today - and thats all down to Tony's efforts. Thanks mate !
Someone has to pull the engine through to ensure its not got hydraulic lock
Looking pleased with his efforts today - and rightly so
You could eat your dinner off that wing !
And I flew again this evening - since our crew room got its alcohol license today it seemed fitting to crown the days activities with a swift Peroni.
She did Tony yes I started with some rolls and they were well received. However when I suggested a loop there was a firm 'No' from the back seat. So I kinda thought that was a bit illogical considering the rolls had gone down so well. Hence I suggested we do another roll . . . . . . . . . and accidentally looped instead. As we went over the top I did detect some rather un-lady-like language from the back seat - but I'd been forgiven by the time we landed
