Amazing :-O

I saw one pic on the Daily mail

Just as well they were not big birds. G-APEF the BEA Vanguard was training and hit a massive flock of seagulls and just made it around with multiple failing engines and airframe damage :worried:

I think it was Edingburgh *-)

The Daily Mail pic has an inset purporting to show the remains of birds on the side of the nose. They are, in fact, the pitot heads! :wall: :wall: :wall:

Likewise the Bild shots show "individual birds flying past" - again, the pitot heads :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Reporters eh? :rtfm:

  I noticed that, also. I will have to keep abreast of such developments.

I fear it all may be a waste, though.
