Fiat G.12

Post by FlyTexas »

A nice Fiat G.12 by Stefano Meneghini and friends for FS2004 and FSX. Currently available at Sim Outhouse but I'm sure it'll pop up soon elsewhere.

Had a little fly in this well untill I was told to get off the PC, obviously my daughter ordering more clothes from Next is more important! Anyway this is a nice machine to fly heavy and slow no 2D panel though but the VC is good :)

I'm a 2D panel fan, most of the time, so I substituted one of the Savoia Marchetti panels and everything works great.

I really like this aircraft, most of all how she handles. She's supposed to be sluggish and that's how she handles. Definitely a HUGE winner (not counting the price).

If you like the G-12, you have to try the G-18 also available at all nodes. File is:

g18v_v01.zip

Model and paints by Manuele Villa who did the paints for the G-12. It is, imho, the best freeware prop out there - simply outstanding.

Best wishes

Just to clarify things, this really is just an FS2004 model, a native FSX release is promised in a few weeks.
