A bit of motoring

Post by cjw50310 »

Yesterday I joined up with the MINI owner's club for the annual Fall Motoring Tour, wandering about the state on the back-roads. Here are some snaps - the weather was crap, but it's that time of year.

Meeting up:

Stopping at a pumpkin farm:

Stopping at one of the state parks:

There were about 20 cars altogether, and the best part was seeing people's reactions to such a large group of small (for this side of the pond) cars.

Thanks for looking,
Chris

Nice looking bunch of cars, Chris. Only thing is they've put the steering wheels on the wrong side

That looks like a really nice day out in some lovely scenery. Thanks for showing it to us. I enjoy seeing what people get up to.

Ian :)

Lovely pictures.

I really love the old & the new Minis. Both seem to have a huge following. :)

There are a few of them tooling around, but they think those of us with the new ones are punks. They may be right. :D

The leaves are just starting to turn - should be more color this weekend when we'll get close to our first freeze. Let me know if you do swing into town - I'd be glad to show you about.

LOL... I had thought of putting a post about them being only little BMWs, not real BMCs... But thought it may look rude. I'm glad I wasn't the first.

Not rude at all - every time I turn around in the thing I find a BMW sticker I hadn't seen before. :)
