Re: A Bit of a Setback
Well if you want an exciting ILS then you should try runway 13 at PAMA you should have no trouble like that if you use ATC's radar positioning but the terrain clearance will make for some good Kodak opportunities...and don't forget it is a 4.5 degree glideslope

Two obvious options.. retune the comm radio so you can't hear the shouting or.. alt/options/traffic/slider to zero

Armed with MS traffic toolbox, I can select an individual AI that's 'in my personal space' and ping! delete him! It's just knowing that he's there!
I haven't worked out how to switch on the TCAS on the 757 yet - perhaps I will look at the manual after all. One day ...

"got caught watching the paint dry" eh ?speedbird591 wrote:That's the thing, you see. I was so pleased that I'd locked on to the ILS without reading the manual, that I forgot all about controllers and traffic until I took a peep from outside and saw armageddon bearing down on meDaveB wrote:Exactly Joe. If that happened.. I'd lay the blame fully at your controllers door![]()
I don't think I'd have the nerve for this hobby if I didn't have a P key!

AI smooth works a treat too Ian - but not sure if it works in FSX
my traffic is all spaced out nicely at 4 minute intervals on the approach
