Lovely pics Ian, shows Autumn at its best. The bloke who runs my local bike shop has always said (at least for the few years I've known him) that it's a false economy to go too cheap when picking a bike - mind you he would say that wouldn't he!
More cash buys you less weight and better componants which usually mean that it's faster, easier to get up hills (depends on the hill I say) and the bike lasts a bit longer. Now why does that argument sound so familiar - "I know it's expensive dear but it's so much faster - will certainly run FSX (honest) and will last me at least 3 years, think of it as investment!" Local guy reckons £800 min for a good bike.
