That's a nice video, Gary. A lovely, relaxing flight! Thanks for posting that.

The engine sound is gorgeous - so soporific. I have a small confession to make here - I've also downloaded the DH80 and have been mooching around in it. But don't tell the others as it might harm my reputation as a Classic Jet Man I wouldn't want anyone to think I've gone wimpish

Garry it is the adjective of sleep inducing, other meanings of the word are...hypnotic, heavy, monotous, dull, but as an Autonym it means stimulating.

Now, has that helped any?

Ooops - sorry to use words of four syllables on the forum. I thought I was somewhere else

Soporific in the sense of a lazy Sunday afternoon in a hammock in the garden and a DH80 droning gently overhead and a glass of Pinot Noir just balancing on the tummy and the eyelids beginning to droop

BTW anybody know why the word monosyllabic has so many syllables? Probably not

I think my blood pressure dropped 5 points just watching the video. Ahhh, relaxing...just the lovely sound of the Puss Moth's engine and no head-banging, hard-rock music playing in the background on the video. (a pet peeve of mine) An excellent video, Gary. Thanks very much for sharing it.
