I bet you could fly there and back in an R22 with fuel and landing fees for much less. :-O :-O

Wow, I am shocked but also not surprised about this! I have spent considerable time (and money!) on the British Railways over the years and this is shocker!

Mind you the first leg from Newquay down to Par would hardly warrant a first class ticket!

I shudder to think how long that would take too with changes, my suggestion would be Fly from St Mawgan to Gatwick, change to Glasgow, and then pay either a cabby to drive you the last bit or find a private charter R22 as you say to take you.... assuming you have no baggage!
