Remembrance

Post by Charlie Bravo »

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

As it is the 11th. of the 11th., here's three shots of the last day that you could see a Vimy, Lancaster, and Vulcan over the same piece of sky. In their days their crews all contributed to keeping the skies free.

Actually got to wear a poppy this year

Seems the VFW have adopted the tradition here -- and old bloke was sitting outside the local supermarket yesterday with people
wandering past like he was crazy giving paper flowers away. Any way -- mine was up and although 1100 was eight hours after you gents it was marked. By the way well played the bus driver
