I dunno mate to be honest. I hear all kinds of things about the Kemble Brit and none of it seems reliable. I know they got an engine back.. serviced by RR and with it, a 28v GPU. I don't keep my finger on the pulse but I can't recall when any of their engines were run
As to the prop....I bet the tipwash hit the fuse and drummed down it similar to the Vanguard which would make it much noisier inside than out but not up front

Looking at their website it seems to have gone quiet - as well as the G-ANCF project - I will say this in flight the noise was probably ALL prop -- As Peter pointed out it was where you sat that made the difference - In the loadmasters "shack" in the tail it was very quiet plus the long fueslage arm made the tail
rock very slowly - lot of people felt queasy sitting back there - me I used to love to lay in the bunk (albeit in a Polar bag as it could get bloody cold) and let the
beastie rock me to sleep.
Off topic (kind off)
Garry have you seen the pictures of NCF's wing at the Eagle site? it shows very clearly why it was so simple to hang 3350's on the Britannia -- even down to the
engine mounts - the Brit and the Argus used a common "crown" type engine mount rather thab a beam type all that was required was a DC7C "power egg" from firewall forward.
I just spent an hour trying to find any clips from "Buccaneer" the BBC drama from 1980 - no luck with that, which I would have thought was one of the best prospects for a whole range of Britannia sounds. Back to Turkey Day here!
