Very pleased with latest purchase

Post by VEGAS »

Hi guys,

Recently treated myself to a little add-on. I decided to buy the Earthsimulations Alderney scenery.

I know it was the subject of discussion here recently.

The attention to detail is superb. Done nothing but laps of the Island since I bought it!

I'm very impressed with it and obtain very respectable FPS as well. ;)

Very nice Eddie :D

If I was to be commenting on accuracy then I'd say there has never been BA liveried Twin Otter there.....

But don't worry :worried: ..I won't tell anyone :hide:

Thanks for posting..I can see why you can't stop playing

It is superb scenery. Seasonally aware too, so you get snowmen in the winter and cricketers in the summer amongst other things. Great fun to try and find all the little details.

Their Isles of Scilly is due out next month too

Cheers Garry. :)

I have no doubt you'll be right about the otter.

Actually I'm inspired at the moment by the series Martin Clunes did on Islands of Great Britain.

I have watched the wholes series on BT OnDemand service.

One of the episodes focuses on Sark, which I found fascinating. Especially when he met the only (part-time) policeman/fireman/farmer on the Island.

They made him do a horse and cart driving test, which he managed to pass!

I love anything to do with Islands. I actually hoped he would mention Alderney to compare it with the scenery package.

Cheers dave. Think you posted as I was typing a repsonse to Garry.

Thanks for the HU on Scilly. I think I will be reaching for the plastic if this is where they set the bar. :agree:

I wondered about the Twotter too  Very nice scenery though mate. Now.. if the whole of the UK looked like that, I'd seriously consider going to FSX :D

Stunning describes it perfectly. Pity the clip doesn't show the airfield as this is where most of us will eventually end up.. well those buying it :D
