Ah.. well I don't usually make my own (though I have).. I normally end up liberating one off an original via DXTbmp :D

I never go to a graphics editor via DXT.BMP I always open within the editor itself.

Garry

How do you go about it, Garry ? I assumed one needed to use DXTBmp, to convert the dds to bmp, send it to the editor, do the paint, send it back to DXTBmp to convert back to dds and put it in the sim. Or am I missing something here ?

Hi Paul

If it can't be read into the editor I call it into DXTBMP save as a 32bit 888-8 and then open that new BMP in the editor.
