Looks like they were pretty close to the ship when they had to ditch. Notice that the RHIB was on scene by the time they were all out and in the raft.
I'm glad everyone's alright. Too many offshore ditchings have ended much worse sadly.

Basically, it says that the pilots aren't talking to the press (a good idea) and that they're awaiting the Nigerian AIB investigation (probably going to be quick) but that the helicopter was recovered by a crane ship that happened to be nearby less than 30 minutes after the ditching.
So, this is a huge win-win. Ditch the helicopter without injury and get the helicopter back to use again. I hope someone bought the flight crew a few rounds that night. They deserved it.
