Perched high in the French Alps with a steep sloping runway, this airport offers a real challenge to pilots. I found this link with some interesting videos of various small aircraft landing and taking off.
Air Tyrol used to operate Dash 7s into and out of Courcheval . On take off , the Captain would open nos 2 and 3 to full power, and then release the brakes. V1 was on brake release, i.e. the moment you released you were committed , and at 50 kts IAS the First Officer would open nos 1 and 4 to full power. Below 50kts there was insufficient rudder authority to counter a swing if an outboard engine cut , hence this very hairy procedure
