I'll concentrate on the formation landings next...Can't make up my mind to do it in Echelons or Finger Fours B-)

Bless you Peter.. I've no idea how you managed this and to be honest, I don't want to know  However, it IS very impressive. Pity you weren't a Naval Aviator ;)

That is stunning Peter, won't even bother asking how long it took for you to do that. :welldone:

That one gives a good big picture but this one:-

is the same thing on YouTube and looks good when viewed in HQ...The sound is courtesy of AdvancedAIBlast and you might like to turn the volume up

I'm speechless. That is truly amazing stuff you're doing there Peter.

I think the 50th anniversary flight is going to be something special. It's such an original idea, I wonder if the media would be interested in covering it? I could imagine a TV documentary with clips of the virtual flight interspersed with interviews, photos and contemporary footage ...

Thanks Nigel and Ian,

Yes, I'm looking forward to the big three day flight...I will be going all the way with Traffic View Board attached to one or other of the aircraft...In real life I led Blue Section and I see from my logbook that I had my own Hunter for the whole trip:-

I also see that from previous habit with the Venoms, I wrote Eastleigh for the final destination...Eastleigh was too short for our Hunters so we were based at Embakasi (now Jomo Kenyatta)...So sorry for the typo!

Peter, I used to do a lot of AI in FS9 but what you have done here is just amazing. It's made me start thinking
of playing with AI again but in FSX.
How did you set up the boxes of 4, or is this done with FS Recorder ?

Thanks

Peter,

I'd once made a 1/48th scale model of XE609... pity I gave it away about a year ago! Small world...

Interesting to see the amount of total flying hours you had logged Peter, how many did you complete on leaving the RAF?

Also would be intereesting to know how many hours spent flying commercially with BEA/BA

Nigel.
