Re: HS748 Taxispeed
Thanks it works! I think I expected something brighter, or more visible.

Re: HS748 Taxispeed
If you want it brighter you need to adjust the "HS748_cabinlight.fx" file in notepad
adjust the Bold numbers to a higher value ("hint" they are RGB values)
but bear in mind the cabin lighs on the 748 are not super bright like modern stuff.
if you can find an external view that looks up at the cabin roof interior you should see the striplights glowing at about the right value for the age of the aircraft
I personally can't stand overlit FS cabin lights
you will also find that the cabin light will start bleeding onto the wing roots if you go too high
I would not reccomend using 'L' to switch on all lights as the 2d and VC has every switch for every light and they work
[ParticleAttributes.0]
Blend Mode=2
Texture=fx_2.bmp
Bounce=0.00
Color Start=55, 55, 48, 100
Color End=255, 255, 188, 0
Jitter Distance=0.00
Jitter Time=0.00
uv1=0.00, 0.00
uv2=0.01, 0.01
X Scale Goal=0.00
Y Scale Goal=0.00
Z Scale Goal=0.00
Extrude Length=0.00
Extrude Pitch Max=0.00
Extrude Heading Max=0.00

Re: HS748 Taxispeed
Hi Guys
By the way the cabin lights only work in FSX with the Landing lights on !
no idea why
Just add a couple of VC lights to the aircraft.cfg lights section
Regards

Hi Rick,
You don't have a spare set of wheels do you?

Used as AI at Woodford in FSX.

Re: HS748 Taxispeed
I have it as flyable and Ai in FSX SP2A and no problkems apart from Propdiscs/glass against Cumulus & Autogen
and the Panel light won't work unless you turn the landing lights on as FSX doesn't use the alpha channel for lighting like FS9 did
looks like you don't have the gear textures etc (in FS9 they sit in the FS9/textures folder to save space)
Make sure you use my FSX 748 installer from the members only section
