If you don't like auto installers mate, just do what we do and run the installer, but point it at a temp location, then just move the folders across yourself All of the guys on here have their stuff in the library, even some stuff that was never released anywhere else. DM only publishes his stuff at his own site, but if you search in the library you'll get a picture and a link directly to his webspace.
You snowed in today too then George? Cleadon got about 5 inches last night, to add to the stuff that was already there, and Sunderland road hasn't seen a gritter all week.
Took me 3 hours today to get the SWMBO's car the last 30 yards up to the house
I love living on the side of a hill with a 1' in 18' hill up to the house
similar road to the one that goes up the hill behind the Bull only has a tight "S" bend half way up so you lose all your momentum as you have to make sure you don't hit the curbs (wherever they are under 9" of Shhhhh--------------now!)
(Hey we won't ever get flooded) !

Yes Ben, I'm in Shields and we had about the same. Fortunately I don't need to go out until tomorrow and, with a 4WD should be ok.
Thanks Rick, I now have the 748 running as AI. The only thing I needed to do was reduce the roll MOI to stop a dutch roll on a VFR circuit landing.
Incidentally I was working at Avro Woodford at the time of the 748 maiden flight. We all stood by the runway for the take-off but since he flew for about 2 hours, had to return to our desks. It was about 30 years later that I had a flight in a 748 from Newcastle to Jersey.
Yes, but only when doing a VFR circuit. It's not really a dutch roll, on the final turn, it rolls too far then compensates the other way all of the way to touchdown. IFR is fine.
I always keep two sets of aircraft, one for flying and a separate copy for AI.
