Its worth trying the air file from the default Dash8 or something similar when using AI. Seems to work well. I work in Shields and the Vectra has done a good job all week, just getting out of the car park at the flat today was a challenge.

If you work on about 670KG total per hour that should cover you, including some diversion room

It's pity that cabin lighting is not working is FS2004, but that does not change the fact that it is a great model. :welldone:

How can I open the cargo doors? After a 15 minutes of flying both of my engines quitted. Can this be because of the switched off fuel heaters? RPM was 14200 and temperature 720 C, while the fuel trim az 90%.

Hi Andras,

I'm sure cabin lighting does work in FS9 as its an FS9 model, not FSX. *-)

the engines cutting out is usually because of either icing or overheating. Dit you have the de icing switched on? You need this in addition to fuel heating at this time of year :)

Fuel Heaters on when outside temperature is under +5 Degrees C (you should also switch on the Airframe and engine Anti Ice around this time especially if there is any cloud you will be flying through.

the RR Dart has a very small inlet and it ices fast due to the air speed of a huge amount of air being sucked into a small inlet you get an exagerated temperature drop. ;)

normal power is 14,200 RPM at 730 TGT (fuel trim adjusted for OT & ALT)

Hope that helps

Regards
Rick

yep cabin lights etc work fine in FS9
Model is FS9 Native

too much work currently for Full FSX native conversion as there are 6 seperate models! :hide:

The cockpit lighting is fine, only the passenger windows are dark.

Ah right. Could it be one of the repaints thats a freighter that was converted from a passenger aircraft?

I do not think so. I tried more repaints, including the BA package. Do you have lighting in passengers windows?

Hi Mate, Just check with the BA landor repaint. At first I thought there was none, but in actual fact its just very realistic! If you pan round the outside of the aircraft you can see the lights, especially reflecting off the white headrests. Remember that at night when an aircraft is not on the stand (i.e. taxiing etc) the lighting is quite subdued. I'm using FSX so it should definately be there.
