funny how old lessons are forgotten,
i was an RAF sprog at cosford in the late 70's when it snowed heavily and the musuems Vulcan B1 parked outside the training hanger sat on it arse.
we all thought it looked better in that attitude. Think it had a tail tressle installed after that

One crew chief at RAF Scampton before I arrived there should have been present at a de-fuelling of a Vulcan prior to it being towed into the hanger for service ended up as an ex-crew chief after the front tanks were emptied before the rear.......leave you to imagine what happened next!!
