Would anyone want to build this VC10 for FS????
I've got information on an unbuilt VC10 variant up on my site now. There may be enough in there to build a FS version, I'm sure it would look nice parked next to an A380

Lacks the aesthetic beauty of the one we know and love and the front view is very reminiscent of the N*mrod
It might have been quite an efficient way of carrying a reasonable number of people across the pond (always thought Tridents and VC10s had too low a capacity) but I wonder whether airport infrastructure would have coped with it. Still in the 50s and 60s people were still having wild ideas. A few got through (and a few that shouldnt have!) and sadly some got killed that shouldnt have (HS.134 being a prime example of something way before its time).

Actually I may have something for him that he'll like, I'll let you guys know once it's up on the site. That may take a while, but what's new there I've got all the info but the typing and scanning will take a few evenings and I've spent enough of last week behind a screen for now.
Edit: and if you guys get bored, you can go and play with this in the meantime. Photos can be posted here.

That looks very similar to birthdays cards availiable around 1970. The back was printed with a cut out model in just that style..perhaps the same people??
Although not 3D as such...flat fuse, flat wing....they did fly well and were very accurate and wellproduced drawings.
There was a Dan Air Comet and Dan Air Dakota..I think there was another one..perhaps more but I seem to remember three...airliners at least
Like so much then, I bought some used them an threw them away without any thought ......they were gone almost before you knew they were there

Seem to remember in my youth that BOAC had another similar "kit" of the Comet 4 .... vaguely remember trying get a curved effect for the fuselage by wrapping it round a pencil ! Probably circa 1966/67 after the last Comets had gone from Britain's best airline ! Don't suppose anyone has one of these to turn into a PDF ?
