Another little hobby..dogs!

Post by VEGAS »

Hi guys,

Just thought I would share a couple of snaps of our lastest edition to the household.

Allow me to introduce - Ruby. A 13 week old Beagle.

Very cute but very mischeivous. You dare'nt take your eyes off her for a second!!

A few little accidents here and there but thats part of the experience. And her to learn from it.

Looking after dogs is second nature to me and the wife and this little girl has a lovely temperament.

She is certainly going to need regular exercise. A very labour intensive breed thats for sure.

Just started taking her out for walks in the park now as her injections are effective. She loves meeting other dogs.

I think its important for them to socialise early on. :) :)

Check out the back legs..!

Nice one Eddie ;) You're not wrong about Beagles needing lots of exercise. My sister-in-law had one and he was a right sod  Did you pick a bitch on purpose mate??

Hi Dave,

Yes we went for a bitch as they are normally slightly easier to live with than a male Beagle.

Plus the bitches don't cock their legs everywhere.

No intention of breeding/showing etc..

In fact she is being nutered at 16 weeks.

Hello Mate..

That's exactly how I look at it mate. I've always gone for bitches for the same reasons ;) I don't have anything against male dog's in particular but bitches tend to be different in a funny sort of way.

I hope she gives you many years of faithful pleasure

True Story

My Brother used to be friends with a couple of girls who's dad owned a Cessna 182.

He came home one day to say they had bought a Beagle pup. :)

For about two weeks I wondered when I would see the new aeroplane before I found out they has a new dog :$

Shes great -- we were looking at a Black and white bitch at the pet store (not a puppymill) last week - my only concern is she would boss our five y/o Wheaton male to death!!!

Hope she brings you years of comapnionship
