Big Bristols aside, this Tiger Moth makes me drool - I believe it's the very first SP2/Acceleration-native version, and it looks peachy. Classic and British, even if it is being made in Australia.
The developer says... This aircraft is based on a RAAF Tiger Moth DH82A with a 130hp Gipsy Major engine as you would commonly find flying in Australia today (I haven't seen one yet that has strakes fitted).
I read a while back that it was only when laden for war with camo paint and bomb racks etc that there was a problem with spin recovery - maybe someone here has flown one and will know. Anyway, strakes or not it's an FSX native Tiger Moth, and a very sweet-looking one, and for that I am truly grateful.
I've got friends that have an Australian built Tiger Moth (minus its spin strakes) and that is designated a DH.82A. I only knew that by looking that up!!
