Its a miricle.... Tony Madge in mouth shut shocker!
[EDIT]
Dave, try disabling each of the Gen X areas in turn. Something has either added new landclass to those areas or changed its altitude.

Hi Ben..
I've reinstalled area3 of Vol2 and the problem remains. With any part of Vol2 area3 except the 1.2m scenery on, that area goes below sea level. Of course, having 1.2m ticked on it's own has no effect as it needs the 2.4m res to be installed. Odd.. very odd. Vol2 area3 on.. water. Vol2 area3 off, default desert with trees (standard UK FSX texture). I'll try ticking off all other scenery again and if the problem remains.. I'll move back to FS9 and do some flying again

Okey doh..
ALL scenery removed.. every little bit and if any part of Vol2 area3 except 1.2res is ticked.. I get sea in Vol2 area3. It doesn't make a great deal of sense but that's what's happening

What happens if you reinstall just that area mate, sounds like something has over written the GenX file.
Ben.

Laughing my head off at the opening post!
Re: FSXXXX - Beyond the Thunderdome - Waterworld
Does that mean that Royston is under water? Is there any way this could be replicated in reality?DaveB wrote:I realised the East Coast had moved to Baldock last night![]()

Toby.. oh yeh.. Royston is long gone amigo. Pity cause I love the section of dual carriageway punctuated by roundabouts that go around it

Dave, I've got one cat I can donate - if someone wants to donate another (female) then we can get started on the Arc thing.
Looks like those folks over at UEA were right after all!
I think someone has come across this before, have you checked the forums over at Horizon - I bet George D knows the answer? Have a play with the mesh stuff, that might be the answer.
Regards,
Chris

Had a quick look on the Horizion forums. Similar probs have been reported, which seem to be due to dodgy DVD's so some files are not getting installed.
