FSX won't let me add on any scenery.

Hi guys,

Just maybe need a refresher on adding scenery to FSX as for some reason I am having trouble this morning.

Basically I've downloaded a couple of small UK2000 airfields to add to FSX. Namely Woodford & Ronaldsway and some other small add-ons.

I placed the airfield, containing the scenery & texture folders into the FSX/Add-On scenery folder.

Then opened FSX. Gone into Scenery and add area and got to the relevant add-on scenery folder.

Low and behold the folders are there showing Woodford & Ronaldsway. So far so good.

When I go to click on the folder to add it to FSX it simply opens up and shows the scenery and texture folders. It does'nt add it to FSX.

Perhaps I am having a mind f@rt this morning.

Any ideas?

You are obviously running W7. When the name shows in the "Scenery area title box", click anywhere on white space in the folder pane.

Ah. Thats done the trick.

Your right I am running Win7. Its been great with FSX apart from this little niggle. Seems a bit fiddly but works when I followed your instructions.

I know for the next time now.
