The Eastbourne Monoplane has joined the Taildraggers Club over at Situk:-

Here is a YouTube of it performing touch and goes on the military taxiway at Mcleland Field...Sunday so no F-16s to get in the way:-

It does not yet seem to be available in HD at the moment but I expect it will be in about an hour :fly:

Leif,

They have sort of evolved...Originally the club was formed of three Cessnas and they only fly on Sundays...Then we had these three Wacos and we sold them to the club and had great difficulty in training the AI pilots to fly them properly. However, they do seem to work reasonably well now. There was only one spare slot and I put the Eastbourne into that...However, something in the model is not quite suitable for AI operation...It does perfect T&Gs as in the video but it will not attempt a final landing...It gets onto finals or nearly and then gently spirals down to the ground and taxies the remaining distance through the trees until it reaches the destination on the ground and then parks!

BTW taxying is quite amusing in the Eastbourne as I have my Traffic Taxy Speed set at the recommended maximum and so it gets slightly airborne when using straight taxiways  Incidentally, you may notice, when that YouTube finishes processing and goes HD, that I have added exhaust blue flame to the three exhaust pipes...I would also like to get some three cylinder radial engine noise :agree:
