Slow Cruise down the Russell Fjord...

Here is a leisurely bumble down the Russell Fjord in my Eastbourne Monoplane:-


I've just left the bay and here is the pod of Whales that can be seen near the cruise ship waiting anchorage.


Really low flying over the water is a bit hazardous and this is about as low as I dare.

Yes Dave it was a bit of an "Arrival"...This machine is a bit long on the ground run and I'm a bit nervous of using brakes...I'm not sure that it really has brakes. Anyway I certainly charged through one of those waiting Cessnas (cut that bit out of the video ).

tame in comparison to the arrivals in the Bandit Peter, speaking of the inverted type - I mean..

I pulled the FSX version and agree.. it is a bit long on the ground I doubt very much the real one had brakes but you can use the ones on the model reasonably heavy without fear of it nosing over A little disappointed it wasn't a bit more manoeuvreable at low speed (as is the Bleriot XI.. the real one) but it's a nice little model with great detail We have a 'running' Demoiselle at Brooklands and I stumbled over a model at Simviation a couple of days ago. Must nip back and see if I can find it
